Welcome to Beaverbrook |
What Are the benefits of membership?
As a member of the club you will have access to all the ranges at any time they are open to members. The rifle and pistol range are open to members all year long with the exceptions of when it is being used for a league or during the weekends in October. (Hunter Sight-in) The archery range is open to members all year long. When the club house is closed, the trap fields are then available for members to use with hand thrown birds. When the club is open for leagues or on Sunday afternoons, members can take advantage of a reduced price for a round of trap or skeet.
What does it take to be a member?
Currently we do have some membership slots available. To join the
club you need to fill-out an application and send it to the club along with
a check for the annual dues of $130.00
plus the initiation fee of $40.00, totaling $170.00. New members joining
after July 1st, choosing to pay for two years we will
have the
dues
for
the current year prorated added to the full dues for the following
year. Please note that members who help the club by working ten hours during
the year will have their dues reduced by $55.00 the following year. The board
of directors meets every third Wednesday of the month, see the calendar
page,
and at that meeting the board will consider new memberships during the first
15 minutes, after which they will vote
on
new members.
If you didn't have a current member sponsor you for membership you are required
to attend this board meeting. If you do have a sponsor you are still encouraged
to attend this meeting to answer any questions the board may have. If a question
arises and you are not there to answer, your membership may be delayed until
the next month to get an answer from you. After a positive vote you will
be giving your membership card and a copy of the range rules. An Adobe PDF
file of our membership application and range rules is available here.
