Important Club News

Members

Please remember our club is part of a larger community. And being part of this community we need to do our part to support the public good by providing a safe place to shoot. To that end we have made our facilities available to groups ranging from the local police departments to the Boy Scouts, 4H and Firearms Safety classes as well as others. We are sympathetic to our members who wish to use the ranges. But our members do need to understand that we do allow leagues and other groups to use our ranges as a safe venue for shooting. And because the Board of Directors has reviewed their requests and approved their use of the range, we therefore ask our members to be courteous of these users and allow them the unimpeded use of the range.

This is a reminder to the membership of the procedures to follow at the gate. Normally the gate is always left locked; when you arrive and you find the gate closed ALWAYS lock the gate behind you as you enter. If you have guests coming you should wait outside the gate until everyone is there then enter as one group, locking the gate behind you, NEVER leave the gate open for them! Now if you arrive and find the gate open, there may be some event or activity going on at the club like Sunday afternoons when we are open to the public for trap shooting. Please do not shut the gate as you enter. But as you leave if the gate is open and there doesn't appear to be any event going on at the club please check to see if someone there has a valid reason for the gate to be open, if not please LOCK the gate behind you.

Thank You,
